Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path
 
Harold Smith once talked to me about this verse and said, “We can’t see the end of the road.  We need God’s Word as a lamp to see each step of the way.  Why can’t we see the end of our lives, because God wants us to be relying on Him to lead and guide us.  We tend to want to trust ourselves, and this is where we go wrong. Instead of trusting in ourselves, we need to look to God and he will guide us through his Word (the Bible).”
 
I have many life-changing decisions to make with the new academy.  We are signing the contract this week, get the key March 10, and plan to officially open May 1.  The decisions that I make in the coming weeks with have an impact on not just me and my family, but the table tennis community and everyone walking through the door on a daily basis.  Please pray for me that God’s Word the Bible would continually be the lamp to my feet and the light to my path.
