Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let you requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
This is one of my favorite Bible passages. As a Christian, if I’m anxious, I’m showing a lack of trust in God. If I’m following after God, I truly believe that He will cause both the good and bad in my life to work out for His glory. Instead of being anxious, I need to go to Him in prayer believing that His is sovereign and in control of all.
Anything good that happens in my life, I need to go to God thanking and blessing Him. Anything that appears to be bad that happens in my life, I know that it is for a purpose. Problems, trials, and tribulations help me to better understand that I need God’s grace, I need his strength, and that I can’t live rightly on my own.
