If Jesus says in the Bible that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no man can go to God but through Him, then how do people who haven’t heard about Jesus go to heaven?
I have heard this question many times. I will answer it in a moment.
First, I’m going to ask you a question…
When you see a building, how do you know there was a builder? The fact that the building exists is proof of the builder. You can’t have a building without a builder.
When you see a painting, how do you know there was a painter? The fact that the painting was made is a proof of a painter.
When we look around at creation, we see the handiwork of almighty God. Even study the human body, the eye for example is made up of over 2,000,000 working parts. As David says in the Psalms, we really are fearfully and wonderfully made. When we see a painting, we are reminded of the painter. When we see creation, we are reminded of a creator.
Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.
Even if someone never heard about Jesus, they are still without excuse. As we see in Acts chapter 8, if a person will respond to the revelation he has, even if it is solely natural revelation, God will provide some means for that person to hear the Gospel. Today, stop ignoring God and denying His existence. Understand that there is a God who created the heavens, the earth, and all things. Understand that God does have a standard of right and wrong, as we see in the Bible. Understand that you have sinned against Him and that you need to go to Him this day with a repenting heart putting your faith in Christ who loved you and died for you.
