I have been richly blessed in so many ways. One of the ways is through the table tennis community (and some people outside the community) coming to support the academy!
For 7-8 years, I was planning to open the Samson Dubina TT Academy. However, without any money, it seemed like an impossibility. I had a fundraising campaign online and raised some money, but was still short by $16,900. I prayed and prayed that it would happen if it was God's will for it to happen. Within 24 hours, an anonymous donation of exactly $16,900 arrived from Chris Jordan's mom (Barbara Wurster). Mrs. Wurster was an avid ping pong player back in the day. I visited her shortly afterwards and was greatly surprised to see that she could still play!
On Saturday, Mrs. Wurster died. Our condolences to the Wurster family from the Samson Dubina Table Tennis Academy and we are truly grateful for the support! Our dream has become, and is becoming, a reality from your generosity!
For years to come, we plan to continue promoting the family friendly sport of table tennis through open play, coaching, leagues, classes, camps, and tournaments. All these programs are possible from the generous donation of Mrs. Wurster. We are truly thankful!
Thank You Barbara Wurster
