At various facilities, you can drop in a play a few games, take a private lesson, join a group class, participate in a league, play a major tournament, or possibly even purchase some equipment. On the flight to the US Open, I enjoyed reading Larry Hodges’ book - Professional Table Tennis Coaches' Handbook.
As we open the NEW Samson Dubina Table Tennis academy this spring, we need to focus on continuing to recruit new players and retain existing players. This book did a great job of detailing both! Thanks Larry!
I would highly recommend Larry's books as well as his weekly blog.

Mima Ito Secrets Revealed
When the Chinese teams gets crushed, it is a good day for everyone (including the Chinese players). It is good for the rest of the world because it give us hope that they really are beatable and it is good for the Chinese team because it gives them a challenge. When you always have an all Chinese semifinal and all Chinese final, there is no one to cheer for and no one to cheer against. Great Job Mima Ito! Keep up the good work!
