Read some quick "thoughts of the day"

When learning a new serve, focus exclusively on developing maximum spin with your wrist.
 
When smashing topspin, step back away from the table, while smashing forward and slightly down.  When smashing backspin, step close to the table, which smashing forward and slightly up.
 
Remember to anticipate with your feet, while keeping your racket in-front for last second adjustments.
 
When blocking, remember to think about ball control, placement, and extending the rally as long as possible.
 
When looping topspin, start your racket near the height of the table for both backhand and forehand loops.
 
If you can’t read the serving motion, let the ball bounce and read the bounce before fully committing to your motion.
 
For beginners, most of the mistakes are from a change in racket angle; try to keep your angle the same throughout your swing.
 
Change your tt rubber every 100 hours of playing time, usually change your rubber about 7-10 days prior to a tournament.
 
Before every training session, warm up at least 20 minutes by jogging, running stairs, or biking.  After your tt workout, spend another 20 minutes on strength training the legs and core.
 
Play at least 1 tournament per month.  Learn from each event through note-taking and detailed video analysis.
